Bijan Robinson earns All-American recognition

Salpointe RB Bijan Robinsonearned First-Team All-American status by MaxPreps on Monday. Robinson joined Clovis, California RB Kendall Miltonand Lakeland, Florida RB Demarkcus Bowmanon the First Team.

Robinson is headed to Texas, Milton to Georgia and Bowman to Clemson.

“One of the best players in state history capped off his remarkable career rushing for 2,235 yards and 38 touchdowns while averaging 17.7 yards per carry. Headed to Texas, he finished his career with the second most rushing yards in Arizona history (7,036) and is also the state’s all-time leader in total touchdowns with 114.”

Saguaro kicker Parker Lewisalso made the First Team and Saguaro DB Kelee Ringomade the Second Team as a DB.

Robinson is the only two-time Ed Doherty winner in Arizona history.
