I have owned numerous cats and dogs with various hair types and colors. It seems common that my short, black-haired animals all suffer from skin irritation from time to time.

Hi, I had a cat for 11 yrs that was black and white, she had fur loss same exact spot my Bombay I now have has. They both have black fur. It's back end, down both rear legs and rear end, and on both of their sides. An their stomach. Basically anywhere they can reach and pull fur. They never met. Was told by someone who had a similar problem with their black cat that it could be a problem with black cats in general. Your thoughts??
