Chiemsee Castle in the Oshkosh Community
Throughout the year, each and every year, Chiemsee Castle management and staff freely volunteer their time and efforts to participate in community events benefiting the city of Oshkosh as a whole, as well as underprivileged children and families in the area. We are so very proud of our ongoing support of our great city, and look forward to the next opportunity to serve it's wonderful citizens.
- Annually we sponsor St. Raphael's 5k run walk during their summer picnic
- A charter sponsor for the first annual "Eggciting Day at the Zoo" in Menominee Park
- In 2011 we made our first entry into the annual Oshkosh Holiday Parade
- Our employees have marched in the annual Oshkosh children's day parade for years
- During the Christmas season, employees of Chiemsee Castle joined together to hand make more than a dozen quilts that were donated to cancer patients at Mercy Medical Canter. This will be an annual activity for us at Chiemsee; and can't wait to get started on this year's quilts! Read a touching story here from one of the recipients of our quilts.
- Each year during the holiday season, we display a "gift tree" (similar to the ones you may see in local grocery stores etc.) in our lobby to collect Christmas presents for needy children in the Oshkosh area
- Food drives are regularly held in our lobby in order to donate to local food pantries
- Sponsor of the Oshkosh annual " zooloween " at Menominee Park (lots of candy!)
- Annual sponsor of " Snooze at the Zoo " providing s'mores and doughnuts for all the campers!
- Each year during the winter season, we participate in the "Coats for Kids" campaign, and collect new and used coats to donate them to underprivileged children in the area.
If you are a member of, or know of a local organization that hosts events benefiting the Oshkosh community, please contact us and we will do our best to contribute in any way we can! We would be proud to add you to the above list of accomplishments!
