Aug 24: More Video Training

Today we continued project work at the KWAT office.

Katharine and Julia helped the KWAT employees learn how to use the new cameras we brought them for collecting future footage of Kachin refugees and migrant workers. They also taught them about features of videocameras like aperture for improving their filming skills.

Afterwards, Nick continued his instruction on Adobe Premiere Pro. He reviewed the concepts from the previous training session and moved on to more advanced topics, including audio mixing, adjustment layers and other effects, panning and zooming on still images, rolling titles, nesting sequences, keyboard shortcuts, exporting to different file types and providing anonymity for filmed people using black bars and blurring. The KWAT employees got to practice using the program and definitely improved their video editing skills for future projects.
