On September 23, 2019, Air Astana got its first Airbus A321. Today the eleventh A321 LR arrived in Almaty, Kazakhstan to be put in service.
The Airbus A321LR was flown to Kazakhstan from its assembly plant in Hamburg, Germany. The key reason for Kazakhstan’s national carrier Air Astana, is why the airline keeps buying the Airbus A321LR. The key is this airbus type is eco-friendly.
The total number of aircraft in the Air Astana Group fleet has now grown to 48 aircraft, of which 40 aircraft are Airbus family types. The Airbus A321LR is configured with 150 economy class seats and 16 business class seats, four of which offer increased space with only one seat row.
The continued expansion of the Airbus A321LR fleet demonstrates the airline’s commitment to operate environmentally efficient aircraft, which also offer increased passenger comfort.
On October 17, 2022, Air Astana received its ninth A321 LR plane .
