From 10 Commandments to 10 Amendments: A Jewish Re-Reading of the Bill of Rights ETZ talk with with Aviv Matzkin. The ten commandments were written with a deep structural pattern in mind, but it takes study and close readings to find the design. Once the structure is revealed these commandments take on new meanings and help us understand why these specific 10 were chosen for Mount Sinai. And once we understand how the writer(s) ordered and constructed these sentences, we can use a similar method to help us interpret the structure and probable intention of the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

Run for Their Lives is a global movement founded by Israelis in the Bay Area. Their mission is to raise awareness for the hostages held in Gaza.
Each week, groups worldwide come together for family-friendly walks or runs lasting 18 (ח"י) minutes. Participants wear red shirts and carry flags representing the 28 nationalities of the hostages. So far there are 70+ groups across the globe, with new ones joining daily.
Our Palo Alto group walks every Sunday at 12:30pm. People can join the silent WhatsApp group for location updates and to participate:
