Earlier this year I wrote
an articleAre Entrepreneurs being negatively impacted
by Corporate Policy from some Corporations?about how Google
started demonetizing the videos of people who were making a living by
producing videos on YouTube if they hadn't received a specific number
of viewers,which
received appraise from Forbes. This new policy makes it extremely
hard for newcomers to make a living off of YouTube, and restricts what
they can and cannot produce / create. While Google is a corporation and
are free to do what they please, their ever creeping policy of 'terms
of service appears to be growing more and more limited People
should be made aware of Google's agenda as they have millions of users
and sudden and adrupt changes such as these can greatly impact a person
if they are not ready for it.
According to
tigerdroppings.com,a
partial list of websites, which altogether have an audience of
millions and are conservative, have been banned by Google, YouTube and
Facebook. The list includes
Young Cons Right Wing News President Trump Facebook
Page The Independant Journal
Review Breitbart.com Infowars Natural News Rightside Broadcasting Diamond and Silk
It was only just last week
three big tech companies, Spotify, Apple and
YouTube got together andbanned
/ removed broadcasts of conservative talk show host Alex Jones,
(all on the same day). Alex Jones has an audience of millions of
listeners. It is interesting to note this censorship took place when
university's and schools re-started their school season after
summer. Both YouTube and Apple are based in California and
Spotify is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Another reason for the
censoring of Alex Jones could be due to the fact that due to his large
audience, he may have played a role in getting Donald Trump elected.
Hence, these 3 corporations are leftists.
Alex Jones can sometimes be a
little extreme and is often seen as a
conspiracy theorist, but the information he has delivered over the
years has been key in exposing a lot of corruption and wrongdoing in
both government and big tech. Hence, his website is a good place for
those wanting to find out about corruption, whistleblowers and
wrongdoing by large organizations who have something to hide. I
remember years ago when Alex talked about the NSA surveillance of
innocent U.S. citizens before the Snowden Whistleblower papers, when
everyone
thought THAT was a conspiracy.
Sure not all the
information Alex provides is always 100% accurate, and
each person should research the information further to get the exact
details to make an educated decision of to the accuracy of the
information. However he has raised done incredible work to raise
awareness as to what could have been if some
of these large entities had followed through on their hidden agendas.
President Donald Teump
responded to the censoring of Alex Jones with
the following quotes -
Social Media is totally
discriminating against Republican/Conservative
voices
Too many voices are being destroyed,
some good & some bad, and that
cannot be allowed to happen,” he wrote, without naming any specific
accounts.
Censorship is a very dangerous thing
& absolutely impossible to
police,” the president wrote, suggesting that social media companies
may be politically motivated in enforcing their rules about hate speech
and direct calls for violence.
endquote....
CNN and the New York Times
are not without blame either, for example
both state that Alex Jones is discriminatory, yet both theNew
York
TimesandCNNhave both been sued for discrimination, not
to mention CNN having being targeted by Trump for their 'fake
news'.
And yes, Alex Jones has also beenaccused
of sexual discrimination.
Hence, I can see a
country such as Sweden, who appears to have an audience that enjoys
being micro chipped, which in reality means a loss of privacy. For
example, implantable chipsutilize
RFID. RFID can beused
to track peoplewithin a limited area.
For example, the company GAO RFIDoffers a
long range tracking service to track employeesof large companies based on RFID
technology.
As technology continues to
mature, it is only a matter of time before
these implanted chips can be used to locate anyone on the planet, where
a person has been and to even be hacked by an outside person.
Critical
Review. Let the Audience be the Judge What happened to critical
review? It appears that the policy of
critical review, which means an audience judges a person's content and
in turn either ignores it (causing it to
fade away and die), or continues to show interest in it (causing it to
gain popularity) is not supported by the far left big tech companies.
Hence, one could conclude that the move towards censoring free speech
means thefar
left is desperate and fearful. What do they fear? It is the age
old cycle of light versus dark, the ability of one person to express
their free thought and the imposition of restriction and will of the
other side. Free thought is how
democracy functions, the voice of the many sets the agenda. It was also
how YouTube began. People showed interest in it and
it grew. YouTube, Spotify and Apple did not begin in a country where
freedom of speech was limited or controlled. What if YouTube had
imposed restrictions on their videos when it first started out? Do you
think people would have lost interest and used an alternative video
hosting service? I think so.
Google's
New Censorship Search Engine Google isbuilding
a new search enginefor China that will have massive
censorship filters built in. The power and success of freedom of
thought and free speech is
reflected in the engineering of the massive censorship search engine
being constructed by Google. This feat was only made possible in
the United States. China, a nation almost twice as large as the United
States, was unable to undertake such a project because of its
restrictions on free speech.
Closing
Summary In closing, if you don't
like what someone says, just walk away, turn
the channel or click off the website.
We should value our freedom
of speech, the right to express our free ideas and nurture our
creativity and genius. It was
these same principles that gave us the airplane, the electric light
bulb and allowed us to walk on the moon before any other nation. It is
an open free society
that allowed authors such as Arthur C, Clarke, H.G. Wells and
Gene Rodenberry to author the books that inspired the engineers to
build and create the technology to make it happen. What if their
written works had been censored? What if they lived in a society that
monitored and suppressed their
freedoms? Would the spirit of ingenuity and creativity still have
inspired America's greatest inventors and risk takers? I don't think
so.
