But Why do they put a guarantee on the box?
Keith· Review provided by Target · January 8, 2024
Things that are better water carriers than this cup: dixie paper cups Dasani plastic water bottles Cupped Hands This thing is a huge waste of money and is the cheapest piece of junk I have ever experienced. I bought one of these for my daughter for Chirstmas, it did not last 48 hours before being knocked on the counter and falling on the floor. 1 TIME. 1 TIME it fell on the floor from 3 feet high and the damage was so significant that the bottle cracked at the bottom and the bottom is dented so badly that the cup wont even stand up on its own anymore. THIS WAS NOT COVERED BY THEIR "LIFETIME WARRANTY" So it is headed to the bin. in 200 years a space ship flying, fossil fuel seeking space man will uncover this water bottle in a what was a pile of rubbish and will think that it looks like a great find. He will pour his Brawndo or whatever it is that future space men crave into this water bottle and he will set it down on the dash of his space ship. It will tip over and all of the liquid will leak out of it onto his dash. He will return it to the pile of rubbish from whence it came to continue to not decompose from hundreds of more years.
Big, solid & leakproof
The Leither· Review provided by johnlewis.com · November 18, 2023
This is a superb bit of kit, built in the usual Stanley indestructible style. Big, solid, insulated & won't spill a drop when you've finished drinking & flipped the chunky mouthpiece back down.

It keeps your cold drinks chilled for a good few hours, but don't expect the same performance as a Stanley flask, as the insulating walls of the Iceflow Flip are much thinner. It still lasts much longer than any other insulated cup I've ever owned though, so it's still a top chill performer.

The lid has a substantial handle built in, which flips down out of the way when you're finished carrying the cup around - and you WILL need that handle to cart this thing around comfortably as it's a hefty beast, and unless you have very big hands you're not going to get one around this thing to carry it comfortably.

If you're serious about getting yourself a bomb-proof, leak-proof, chilled drink tumbler which opens and closes with the flick of a finger, and will probably outlive you - there's nothing better than this.
Possible chance of lead poisoning
Very dissapointed· Review provided by Target · January 26, 2024
I purchased and engraved two of these cups through Stanley for both my 12 and 9-year-old daughters to take to school. I also have a two-year-old who loves to grab his siblings cups and play with them. Little did I know the potential dangers hidden within the cup. The bottom piece fell off my 9-year-olds Stanley a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t think anything of it and allowed her to continue carrying it around, bringing it to school, and placing it on her desk everyday to drink out of. I am incensed at the lack of transparency this company has shown. If I hadn’t come across an article stating that there is a potential risk of lead exposure when using these cups, she would have been carrying this poison around with her for months. I will now be taking my 9-year-old to get lead tested and pray that this product did not cause her any harm.
Great Tumbler!

I use this Every Day!

"Positives"
1) Cold - Keeps my water from the fridge cold All day without needing to add ice
2) Handle Moves - makes it so much easier to carry when your hands are full
3) Straw - I drink twice as much water with a straw vs without & it saves my sensitive teeth
4) Durable - this thing has been dropped a few times (ok I'm a busy mom, a Lot) and other than a few expected scratches it has held up great
5) Easy to clean - no tricky spots where stuff can get stuck that you can't get to
6) No "metallic" taste
7) Fits in the car cupholder!

"Negatives" (Minor)
1) Lid - sometimes the lid Really sticks & is Super hard to unscrew (like I need to have someone help)
2) Flavors - if you add flavor packets, the taste is hard to get out of the bottle. I can usually still taste the flavor for a couple days no matter how well I wash it

With that being said.... The "Negatives" are Minor and will NOT stop me from purchasing again!
