ELEANOR OF AQUATRAINWRECK
By:

She does have a subtle touch when it comes to redecorating, doesn’t she? Gosh, but Eleanor has a temper!
And I told you you’d see Doody again. And her partner Roy , who Amy nicknamed Johnny Tomato for some odd reason.*
Well, she might as well take the weekend off. It’s gonna take at least that long to rebuild the control room.
And after her upcoming meeting, she’s going to want to do some relaxing. You’ll see next time!

*Actually, I was talking with a library co-worker, and we agreed that “Johnny Tomato” was a cool, Damon Runyonesque nickname, so I wanted to use it.

Eleanor had him first. He, Nelson, and Tovio lived with her (see The Importance Of Being Eleanor ). She lost him by treating him like an errand boy (click HERE ). She really didn’t want him, and still doesn’t–she just hates to cede territory. ^^

“Bottlecoddler” = Brilliant.

Kinda think Eleanor and Edison are both ‘Stalking Tigers’ when it comes to Larry. Only one’s got him the other wishes she had.

Well sure, she’s taking responsibility for her actions. Eleanor will do that. It’s caring about the results of those actions where she, ah, falls short.
“Yes, darling, I did push him in front of that bus. That doesn’t mean I should send his widow flowers. She’s just not pretty enough.”

Do my rheumy old eyes deceive me? Is Eleanor taking even the teensiest bit of responsibility for the results of ordering Larry around like a trained puppy?

My sense of reality is cracking like a frozen river in the Spring. O.o

“Johnny Tomato” is a GREAT name for a guy who looks like a Mob Enforcer. 🙂

“Bottlecoddler” is Edison. Ever since that first night when he found her hanging off the lamppost, things haven’t always gone as well for Eleanor as she’s used to.

I like ‘Johnny Tomato.’ I’m not as clear on ‘bottlecoddler.’ That’s a reference to Stephanie, I take it?

FWIW, I also loved ‘Eleanor of Aquitrainwreck.’ Who’s Hank the II, though
?
