I've own my bike since 2009 and coming from the traditional two wheeler, Can Am all the way. My husband and I have been able to take long trips and the storage capacity is great. I sit higher on my bike so people see you and I've have many people take my picture as I'm driving down the road. I did put in better suppression and change the seat but all in all I love it. Waiting to get a little warmer and I'll be hitting the road.
I am trying to find other women who ride in my area, I live in Saratoga, NY. Anyone interested?

I just returned from Daytona Bike Week and they have a lot of different demo rides at the race track. The Can-am Spyder area was so busy they booked up for the day. They had VIP parking for the owners and the day we were there they were pulling out for a group ride. Must have been at least 25 Spyders there! I know people who love them but for now I'll stick with my motorcycle and keep trying for a test ride. Our friend bought one last year. It is metallic blue and she named it Sexy Beast. Besides poor gas mileage, she LOVES IT!

cam-am spider by: hip[py granola chick
i would definitely go test drive one if you can. i was not impressed with them but then again i drive a two wheel motorcycle not a three wheel. i did notice that it did not corner as tight as the bike and was not as sure on the corners. did like how quiet it was as i had no problem hearing what the passenger was saying to me even with full face helmets on and moving. did not like the breaking system but that is just me. there are options where you can get an automatic or even a conventional shift. check them out and realize that they are not a motorcycle and do not handle like one. it handles more like my 4wheeler does. go with an open mind and definitely test drive at least two times and different models. good luck and ride safe

I have a Spyder RT. I love it. They are great bikes. Wonderful suspension so no worries of tipping, like traditional trikes. Lots of storage, depending on the model you get. Wouldn't trade it for anything!!!
