I have medium length, thick straight hair. Every day I curl the ends with a curling iron to give it some body and shape. Right before I put on my helmet, I put my hair into a low bun with a scrunchy. (Scrunchies help prevent the telltale "ponytail lump" that thin elastics leave behind.) When I take off my helmet, I pull off the scrunchy and shake my hair loose. The curls usually fluff up and give my hair volume rather than laying flat against my head. Putting my hair in a ponytail while riding usually results in a tangly mess, even if I hadn't curled it that day. Doing a bun prevents the tangles and helps hold the curls I create with the curling iron. (This only works when I wear the full face helmet-for some reason, the result isn't quite the same with the half helmet.)

Hi Anna,
I just wanted to let you know that I just LOVE the Raci Babi helmet liner. We just got back from a few days in Myrtle Beach and my hair looked great after every ride. (I have long curly hair) It took a few tries to get the tieing right but after that, it was a breeze. Thanks so much for inventing a wonderful product!

Hi, I have waist length curly thick ( messy hair!). I have tried the scrunchie-and bun- that worked pretty good. I still found that with the wind my hair would occasionally come out of that- and still get tangled. Also my helmet was rubbing and cutting my hair. So I have taken it to an other level. I put my bun in the bun holder of a unique dew rag I created- for myself originally. If you would like to try one- you can get it at www.RaciBabi.com I would just ask that you would let me know how it failed to meet your expectations and then I would refund all your money and pay shipping for you to return it.
