Don't Put Any Products On Before You Put Your Helmet On

by Christine(UK)

I had long hair and now short and I've found the best thing to do is just wash it dry it and not put any gel, mousse or anything on it before putting on my helmet. It stays in better shape and doesn't stand up as much when you take your helmet off.

Hope it works for you too!

Helmet Hair

Yep I used to spray spray, spray, (I don't wear a helmet anyway) but all that did was make the wind make my hair like cardboard.

Now I have shoulder length hair and its got natural wave in it and holds a curl really well. I curl it with a real small curling iron and don't brush it out - by the time I get to wear I am going (or all day for that matter), it just falls into place. I get comments all the time on how I don't even look like I have been on the bike.
