I'm from England and turning 18 in a few days, so will be doing a CBT and A2 motorcycle license.
My uncle regularly takes me out on his Yamaha R1 and has taken me to sit on bikes to see what I liked but I quickly noticed that I'm to small for a sports bike. Later on I searched the internet and found my dream bike, a Kawasaki ZXR 400, which can be limited to 32bhp for my license.
The only problem is I'm not sure if I would be tall enough to fit on one, with a seat height of 30.1 inches and if not, would I be able to get it lowered and how much roughly would you reckon that would cost?
Hopefully someone can help :)
Lauren

Here are a couple of things for you to think about. First of all, unless you want to ride a cruiser, the odds are against you being able to flat foot the bike. But that's not a huge deal, most of the women I see on sport bikes cannot do that, and it's just not that important. If you want to ride this bike, even after you have it lowered a couple of inches, you'll have to come to a stop and stand on one foot. My MSF coach said that was a goal for us to have when riding anyway. You should, however, be able to walk the bike a bit as you stand on the balls of your feet. The bike you mentioned might work really well because, per the specs I looked up, it's a lightweight bike.
