My husband and I are going for a week trip through the Tennesee mountains in September and am looking for riding/dressing tips...especially a great pair of riding boots. I have tried several, but they don't seem to work well for me...especially if we stop to go hiking. Also, I would like them to look feminine...any ideas???

I e been wearing a pair of docs for riding for 7 years. I find docs to be the most comfortable boot for me. My boots are silvery matallic. I like them!

I love my Hunter Gabby rain boots for riding! My feet stay warm and my boots stay dry. Needing to wear wet boots is misery!
I also carry "walking shoes" in my bags in a place where they are easy to access.
I ride my own, and fortunately, my pegs are situated where heat is not an issue with rubber boots!

I tend to like the wolverine style lace up boot with no zipper. you do not say of you are a passenger on the bike or if you are driving your own.if you are a passenger then your choices will be different. only complaint about the boot is there is not the extra piece over the left toe for the gear shift. very comfortable and would be great to hike in. but I always pack other footwear depending on what I am doing in the saddle bags.
