Fundraising Help for Parents - Coordinators

Always Take a Vote

Present your decision making moms, dads and kids with a few different fundraising ideas, products, and programs.

People appreciate choice. Vote and mutually agree.

Put Your Eggs into Many Baskets

Avoid relying on one single event to raise all of your funds, spread out your efforts. If you are selling a fundraising product at an event, often there can be many fundraising items available at a big tournament or community event, which can create some stiff competition for your supporters attention.

Pre-Collect Funds

Weather it be raffle tickets, chocolates, calendars, or pancake mix: Collect money for these fundraising products on the same day you distribute them.

Yes, advance payment is best. It will ensure that you do not need to make time consuming friendly reminder calls later.

Make Notes

Keep a little journal to pass along to the up-coming fundraisng coordinator. They will thank you for this!

Help them by sharing your research and experience from this season. They will be able to see which fundraising ideas were most successful for your kids, and will continue to master your fundraising ideas in the coming year for their kids.
