האב מיר פאריאר פארפאסט דעם גרויסן יארצייט צו זיין ביים הייליגען ציון פון הרה"ק ר' אלימלך אין ליזענסק, צוליב קאראנא שטייטזיך
האב איך שוין ארום געזיכט, נישט געזעהן דערווייל אז מען זאל עדווערטייזן אויף היי יאר נסיעות,
וויסט איינער וואס וועט זיין היי יאר? וועט מען קענען פארן? איז שוין דא איינע פון די ארגענאזירער וואס וועבן פלענער? וואס וועלן די פרייזען זיין?

Entry and Exit Requirements:

Are U.S. citizens permitted to enter? No
Poland has restricted entry to all foreigners at all external borders (land, air, and sea), including for transit purposes (see more information about transit below). Only foreigners who qualify for the exceptions in the following categories will be allowed to enter:
Citizens or legal residents of European Union countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Georgia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, South Korea, Tunisia, and Australia, and their spouses and children
Foreigners who are spouses or children of Polish citizens or remain under the constant care of Polish citizens
Foreigners holding a Karta Polaka (ID card for those with a claim to Polish heritage through ancestry)
Foreigners who have the right of permanent or temporary residence in Poland
Foreigners who are authorized to take up employment under the same rules as Polish citizens, who perform work in Poland, or will present documents showing that they will take up employment immediately after entering Poland, and who are in possession of one of the following:
Work permit
Certification of registration to perform seasonal work
Work contract or statement entrusting a performance of work to a foreigner
Pupils, students, graduate students, and postgraduate students enrolled in Polish educational institutions
Scientists conducting research or developmental work in Poland
Foreigners participating in international sports competitions as a competitor, member of the training staff, doctor, physiotherapist, judge, or accredited journalist
Foreigners who drive a vehicle used to transport goods
Persons with diplomatic status in Poland and members of their families
Other particularly justified cases may be considered, but entry must be granted with the permission of the Chief of the Border Guard:

QUARANTINE
This restriction applies to persons who:

are crossing the border of the Republic of Poland which constitutes the external border of the EU*,
are crossing the border of the Republic of Poland by organised transport (from 28 December)**,
had direct contact with persons infected (or potentially infected) with the coronavirus,
have been referred for a COVID-19 test by a primary or night care physician.
* External border is defined by provisions of Article 2(2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/399 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on a Union Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code) (OJ EU L 77 of 23.03.2016, p. 1, as amended).

** It applies to persons who have crossed the Polish border (which is both external and internal EU border) by plane, bus or other means of collective transport. The restriction is in force from 28 December 2020 to 31 January 2021.

Attention! Effective January 23, persons with a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result are exempt from the obligatory quarantine. The test must be taken before crossing the border. The test is valid for 48 hours from the time the result is received.

The list of persons exempt from obligatory quarantine when crossing the external border of the EU is specified in provisions of the Ordinance of the Council of Ministers of 21 December 2020 on establishment of specific restrictions, orders and prohibitions in relation to the state of epidemic.

Important! As of 28 December, persons who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 are exempted from the obligatory quarantine (on the basis of a certificate confirming vaccination against COVID-19)

The following persons are exempt from quarantine after crossing the Polish borders:

citizens of Member States of the European Union, Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – Parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation and their spouses and children;
passengers of an aircraft, as defined in Art. 2 item 1 of the Act of 3 July 2002 – Aviation Law, making an international flight from an airport located within a country not subject to air traffic bans specified in provisions issued under Art. 119 para. 2 of the Act of 3 July 2002 – Aviation Law, except for passengers of an aircraft making an international flight from an airport located within the Republic of Belarus or Ukraine.
Obligatory quarantine does not apply to all students, postgraduate students and specialist education students studying in Poland, as well as all doctoral students and researchers carrying out academic activities in our country.

Foreigners who are spouses or children of Polish citizens or remain under their constant care are also not subject to obligatory quarantine.

As of 28 December, obligatory quarantine is not required of persons who have been vaccinated against COVID-19

גערעדט נעכטן נאכט צו א גרויסע טרעוועל אגענט, ער זאגט מיר ער האט אוועקגעלייגט 100'טע טיקעטס פארגאנגענע חודש תשרי (האפענדיג אז זאכן וועלן זיך טוישן צום בעסערונג בעז"ה) פאר די כ"א - ג' אייר - ל"ג בעומר נסיעות, אבער דערווייל זעהט ער נישט קיין מהלך וויאזוי עס וועט צושטאנד קומען.
