What's in season in May 2024, and other timely information:

dark green = available;      light green = sometimes / some farms;      White or gray = not usually available

The light green indicates light crops at the beginning or end of a season - dark green is when the bulk of the crop ripens and picking is best.

This page has a table below that tells when each fruit or vegetable is normally ready to be harvested Hawaii!  I've got to first tell you that Hawaii is a very tough state to get data on, so a lot of the information below is a best guess.   Please write in to help me correct and refine it! We also have a page with links to our own simple instructions on canning, freezing and drying   many fruits and vegetables, such as  how to make jam , apple butter , applesauce , spaghetti sauce , salsa , pickles , ketchup or freezing corn .
