One of my favorite rooms to decorate is our kitchen. There is something about the combination of aqua with green that makes me happy. Welcome to the next room on my Holiday Home Tour, the kitchen!
Updating the window seat with aqua and snowflake pillows is the first thing I do when Thanksgiving is over.
I love adding a little bling to the chandelier during the holiday season. Last year I hung a beaded garland from the chandelier, this year it’s white buds and gold painted eucalyptus leaves.
The open shelves get a new vignette. It’s such an easy swap that gives us something new to look at throughout the season.
A potted rosemary tree is a must in my kitchen each year. After the holidays, I replant the rosemary in a big pot on our front patio.
This year, I have been decorating a lot with vintage glass bottles.
I set them up on top of the kitchen hutch and plugged in a strand of white lights behind the bottles. You can’t get an easier decoration than that!
Saved by Love Creations has this pretty Merry and Bright printable that I popped into a rustic frame.
To finish the kitchen decorating, I tied fresh greenery onto a wire star frame .
Do you like decorating your kitchen for the holidays? What’s your favorite room to decorate?
Pin for later!

It’s Copen Blue by Sherwin Williams
Brittany- I love your kitchen. Do you recall the blue paint color you used on your cabinets? I’m thinking of going blue and trying to find the courage to commit. Thanks! Jolee

I have a liquid silver polish I use on it once a year.
I love your use of silver. How do you keep it so shiny?
Your kitchen is fabulous. I love the way you tied everything together. I cannot name just one thing but everything, I love, love, love them all.

Betsy, thanks for your comment. No, our cabinets are Kith cabinets (plywood box) and the countertops are Quartz (by Cosentino). The tiles are from The Builder Depot and you can read more about our backsplash installation here: https://prettyhandygirl.com/tile-backsplash/

Cathy, ha, I wish I could keep it this spotless. But, normally our kitchen has a very lived in look. Thanks for your sweet comment.
