@ owltwelve : Thank you for the videos. From the first ones I liked the lucid dreams and parapsychology. Quite inspiring and thought-provoking..
It reminded me of a few experiences where I was in a half-dream state (not deep enough to be lost in the dreams and not awake enough to feel in the body) and performing pk. It's interesting that in this state, everything seems to work a lot easier.
Thinking back on this from the lucid dream perspective, it might just have been real and someone's lightbulb might have gotten shattered:

Somewhat more recently I was kind of sleeping in a lecture .. listening to what the lecturer was saying from the half-dream state (with other senses shut off). I noticed that the classroom door was still open and people were walking by, talking. I considered it somewhat annoying and thought I should wake up and close the door. Bang, the door closed and I startled awake. There was nobody near the door and before the door closing, there hadn't been any wind (no door swinging).
Edit: It closed gently (more like a click instead of a bang). I think I woke up slightly before it had fully closed.
I think I turned the TV off from a half-dream state:

When falling asleep from a meditation session, sometimes something similar happens. I'm suddenly at some random place, performing pk on something and everything feels more real. Usually I just see people, places and images that are totally foreign to me.
To make it sound less bloated of egoism and filled with suspicious points of view on the phenomena, here are a few ideas:
Practicing pk in lucid dreams, while lucidly dreaming about what's around us .. this might seriously boost pk progress. Levitating one's body from a lucid dream, snapping back and remembering the feelings, then doing it again and so on. Or slowing down hurricanes from lucid dreams, gathering info on enlightenment via these dreams and so on.. the possibilities seem endless.
Hm, what's the difference between lucid dreaming and OBE?
To me it seems like it might be easier from a lucid dream than an OBE, because we might consider us more in the role of creators in lucid dreams. Though, I guess there actually shouldn't be much of a difference other than what we think that there is.

True, it's a matter of how different people have defined it for themselves.
Although it might seem too obvious for others, I think I realized something new for myself again. Thank you..
Edit:
Thank you for Rich's videos as well. Some other gaps in my understanding have also been filled..

..Wow.. O.O
The safety of lucid dreams makes me think of "Serial Experiments Lain". Which, I think is what he's saying in the lecture as well.
