I think what he means by nerve force, has to do with sensitivity & intensity threshold. It can actually help you with PK & other powers, meaning that as you increase the energy & information load your nervous & ego can bare; you can develop greater access to your potential:)
It's just semantics of course, but other practitioners use the same phraseology:

Somatic meditation practices improve nerve force greatly. The Vajrayana point of view on the body, is that everything in existence is your body, but the ego is blocking it out. Deep relaxation processes like the 10 points practice helps with this. Also, skull breathing directly leads to the sensation of the environment & other beings feel like a part of your nervous system.
Another thing in my personal case, is that having been celibate for a few years with many bindus open; I've been living with the bliss body for awhile. I'm in a pretty constant state of orgasmic pleasure which is many time more powerful than an ejaculatory orgasm. I've had to learn to experience this in public without loosing composure. Often others come into resonance with the energy & become orgasmic too, which I can feel.
I would say concerning nerve force, that the more you let go & open; The more you may experience that the body is not what you thought it was:)
P.S. Arramu, I really appreciate your thoughts on the power of being in contact with your mom. My mom is no longer with me physically, but aside from being able to visit her astrally; I have found that the same healing energy may be experienced by connecting with the earth:)

To be honest with you, the fastest progress that I have made has come from somatic practice; from profound relaxation of the body/mind & surrender to the elements. Try doing the 10 points practice for a couple hours; allow yourself a weekend for personal retreat sometime, so you can get into it deeply without having to squeeze it into a busy daily routine. The foundations of Tummo, & Rainbow Body, are in the breathing body practices, if you get deeply enough into them.
There are other somatic practices from other traditions of course. I would say as a long time practitioner from multiple traditions, the breathing body course presents some of the most advanced practices in the Buddhist Tantra, for a house holder, with no requirement that you become a Buddhist.
Basically, the path to realization is release of tension. You rest your awareness in the body; you discover knots of tension, you invite the tension to release, you become aware that your body is more vast than every allowed yourself to notice before:)
