I think I've stumbled upon the ability to heat up my cold feet. At first I was able to do it during meditation. Now it seems that if I focus my attention on my feet and concentrate, I can make my feet warm once again. When I focus my attention on a particular part of my body, it's like my brain has shined a spotlight upon that area - this aspect isn't so much heating, but rather a subtle, noticed, yet implaceable sensation. Is anyone familiar with this?
Yes, on a basic level; attention on a body part bring blood there. On a deeper level though; yogis have known for centuries that intense concentration produces heat:)
Ah forget my signature, I have nothing smart to say...in a few months I will change my opinion probably :~p

I do practice Tummo, but I certainly can't take credit for discovering TantraAnyone truly interested should checkout, The 6 yogas of Narpa; Essence of Vajrayana, or related books. Protecting the body from cold temperatures, is barely scratching the surface:)
The definitions were different..
I've noticed something similar. Warm socks of psi, clouds of heat around the body on a cold day, etc. But there's still a long way to go.
Though, the practice of tummo and the reading of "The 6 yogas of Naropa" hasn't gone too well for me. As if I've been trying to strike a nail into concrete with a pillow or something. For me the time has probably not come yet.
