Just wanted to say hi to everyone & introduce myself. Im 27 and have been aware of psychokinesis since secondary school. I can't even remember how I stumbled across it, but I had obviously seen a psi-wheel on the internet somewhere and had made one (a paper one) to give it a go and I managed to move it as I was sitting at the pc and talking on the phone. Then I kept it up for a little and it's one of those things I've just gone away and come back to a bunch of times. Aerokinesis has always felt intuitive. In fact, I think I was slightly doing that way before I even discovered the psi-wheel. Im wondering though if it is just easier for most in general as it's so... Light and free? Lol. I dunno. Guess it's easy to mistake as aerokinesis when it could just be the wind doing its thing anyway... Well, I think I can tell the difference, but moving on. I do have a question for you guys. (Also, if anyone has questions for me feel free to ask whatever.) So, Ive been playing around recently with the psi-wheel and other objects. I thought I'd give rolling something a go since in theory I figured I should be able to move a really light lid acro a smooth flat table or something right? Even push it because it's not heavy and I can push it with my finger with the lightest touch, but I'm finding it very difficult. The thing is, Ive found that I can swing a heavy punching bag with PK from stationary and get more movement out of it, yet I couldn't as easily push it with my finger. So, something doesn't seem to make sense. Is it really just psychological or what? What are other people's experiences and opinions? I'd love to know. Anyway, that was a bit long for hello. Nice to meet everyone
Welcome to the forum Vee:)
There are a few factors; psychology, friction, relaxed attention, & empathy. A hanging bag has less friction to overcome, even though it seems larger than a can on a table. However, the more you can maintain relaxed attention & connect empathically with the object you are trying to move; the more you realize that you are the one moving. You are the object & the object is you:)
Welcome Vee!
Your mind is probably used to seeing boxing bags sway, rarely do they stand still.
You could recondition your mind so that it wouldn't expect a can to lay still by default. Visualizing the can being weightless, and the table / floor slanted might also help to overcome the standstill. Installing a fan somewhere in the room to make the can wobble, might also help.

Very good advice Sussch, especially concerning expectation:)
