This December The Bombay Club Celebrates 30 Years with  A Special Anniversary Menu
A glass of complimentary bubbly awaits those who dine during the month of December.

Washington, D.C. (August 13, 2018) – In 1998,  Ashok  Bajaj of Knightsbridge Restaurant Group opened his first Washington restaurant upon his arrival to the city,  The Bombay Club, located  at  815 Connecticut Avenue, NW, 20006 , one block from the White House.  This December marks The Bombay Club’s  milestone 30 th  birthday.  Award-winning restaurateur Bajaj had to convince his landlord that the nation’s capital was ready for a fine dining Indian restaurant three decades ago and today it is still considered one of the nation capitals’ best establishments.  The Bombay Club’s success is also the catalyst for Bajaj’s successful restaurant collection, which now includes ten top-tier dining locations in the city including 701 Restaurant, Bibiana, Bindaas Cleveland Park, Bindaas Foggy Bottom, The Bombay Club, Nopa Kitchen + Bar, The Oval Room, Rasika, Rasika West End and SABABA.

complimentary glass of Champagne will be presented to all guests who dine at the restaurant during the month of December.  Additionally, for this diamond anniversary celebration, The Bombay Club will  feature a $65 four-course, prix fixe menu showcasing a selection of classic Indian dishes during the entire month of December.  These dishes  have rotated on and off the restaurant’s menu since its opening, due to their popularity and requests by frequent guests.  P repared by Executive Chef  Nilesh Singhvi, The Bombay Club’s anniversary menu will be available exclusively during dinner service and begins with an amuse of  Truffle Rasam  followed by  Squash Plti Samosa; Bhalla Papdi Chat  and  Mushroom Galouti .  Next, diners can opt for the  Dum Ka Lobster  with almond, saffron, mace, cardamom and silver leaf  or Palak Paneer Tikka with shitake, cumin, mint, yogurt and tomato  before selecting a main course from options such as  Kundan Kaliya , lamb chop with almond and nutmeg gold leaf  &  Chicken Firdausi  with  pomegranate, tomato, fenugreek and garam masala, served with yakhni pulao and sheermal;  Squash Musallam with  onion, yogurt, cashew, saffron  &  Nargisi Kofta, sweet potato, cheese, spinach, cumin, s erved with guchhi chigoza pulao and sheermal,  or the  Vegetarian Thali  with  zafrani  paneer, dum ki gobi, bharwan aloo, khumbh palak and dal makhni, s erved with guchhi chigoza pulao and sheermal .   For a sweet ending, diners will enjoy a dessert sampler of  Chocolate Malpua; Kesar Pista Kulfi  and  Anjeer Halwa

The Bombay Club emulates characteristics of the old clubs of India, with a spacious, plush dining room, live piano music and attentive service.
