Urbana Launches Café Services with Grab-and-Go Menu, Coffee Bar & Complimentary Wi-Fi

Dupont Circle Restaurant Offers Quick-Service Breakfast Options and Workspace Lounge Every Monday through Friday

WASHINGTON, DC (June 12, 2019) – Rise and grind!  Urbana  is now fueling the Dupont Circle neighborhood with a daytime café menu, offering quick-service breakfast options, baked goods, and coffee drinks every Monday through Friday. Perfectly suited for busy Washingtonians, the café offerings are designed for both commuters in transit and locals looking for a cozy workspace with their morning cup of joe.

During café hours, guests are invited to start their day with an  iced coffee,  latté,  espresso, or  drip brewed coffee from  La Colombe  while accessing complimentary Wi-Fi in the restaurant’s subterranean bar and lounge area. Grab-and-go breakfast and snack offerings from  Executive Chef Ethan McKee and Urbana’s pastry team include such baked goods as  banana bread,  seasonal scones,  semolina cookies,  pistachio and chocolate biscotti as well as light fare including  fresh fruit and  chia seed parfaits with strawberry preserves, fresh berries and almond granola.

“Offering café services allows us to accommodate more Washingtonians during the day,” said Ryan Brewster, general manager of Urbana. “The quick-service breakfast has been well received by guests staying at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Washington DC, and we wanted to extend these grab-and-go offerings to locals too. Opening Urbana’s bar and lounge to serve as a welcoming space to work was a natural fit. Everyone has the option of grabbing something quick on the way to work, or opening their laptop while they wait for a latte.”
