New to the Airwaves – Albums Out This Week (June 9th)
What’s New This Week
Happy Music Friday! My personal calendar is a conglomerate of near every genre of music, festival, and comedy special that a decade ago I would not have dreamed would be my life. This release list is twinning.
To wrap up this week, we’ve got some much-anticipated arrivals that have us tapping our toes, crossing our arms, and screeching, “Finally!” We’re sure you can see which ones we think you should grab and which ones we think may deserve a pass (cough). Dive in at your own risk, and let’s hear your picks!
First, we like to share this weekly new playlist:
What amazing artist on the roster of new music this week. The amount of talent is in this weeks release set is like candy to a musichead. This weeks stand out singles are: Renee Rapp’s“Snow Angel,” an anthemic rock song with haunting vocals and a message or self revaluation and heart felt cries. Sarah Kinsley’s“Black Horse,” invigorating and fresh. Noah Kahan’s“Dial Drunk,” the new age Dave Matthews Band, his plucky playing and distinctive vocals shimmer in this song, will be added to our always listen playlist. Shawn Mendes“Say Yes to Heaven,” another love song banger with raw emotion and those lyrics that shred the heart. Lastly this week we have new music from office fave, Yungblud‘s “Lowlife,” another summer indicative of the Gorillaz banger “Crazy,” the hook is the hook of all hooks. I can already hear the full arena screaming this at the top of their lungs. What a cool single, check it out.
“It doesn’t cut like it used, to”
