The 3 Factor Weight Loss System

Sharing is caring!

Many of us try and lose a bit of weight, especially around about this time of year or just after the New Year, once we've gotten over the Christmas and New Year festivities.

However, the same old thing is going to happen, we are all motivated and excited to lose a bit of weight and we sign up for the gym, or go on a diet, only to see that we lose all that motivation and stop going to the gym a few weeks after we start.

Logically, we all know that to lose weight we just need to burn more calories than we're actually putting into our bodies – right? We all know that and yet we still put on weight.

I have been putting on weight for the last few months and thought 'Okay, need to get out of this slump and find a long lasting solution.'  being someone who works from home and immersed in my online business i rarely get time to go to the gym, or being really honest, haven't made it a priority, because there always time to go to the gym or do some form of exercise it's just a matter of making it a priority in your life.

So I believe I have come up with a solution using Psychology…

There are 3 simple steps to losing weight and these three steps I have called The 3 Factor Weight Loss System

The 3 Factor Weight Loss System

Through research, and looking at my own way of losing weight, I have come across 3 factors that will help anyone lose weight and i want to share them with you here.

1. Belief

Many of us have a deep seated belief that we cannot lose weight.  We tell ourselves things like:

  • I've tried every diet and can't shift the weight
  • I'm just not meant to be thin
  • It's too hard
  • I don't have the willpower
  • I have a medical condition that prevents me from losing weight
  • I don't have time to lose weight
  • It's just the way I am

So the very first step before event starting any kind of weight loss program is to start believing that you can lose weight.  If you don't work on your beliefs, you're not going to shift the pounds it's a simple as that.  But why is that the case?

Well, whatever you believe about yourself is actually true: If you tell yourself often enough that you cannot lose weight that belief permeates through, not only your mind, but your body as well.  You're effectively telling the cells in your body to not lose weight.  Sounds ridiculous right! – Watch this video:

This is all about the biology of belief by Dr Bruce Lipton

Your beliefs will literally hinder your progress in losing weight if you have the deep seated belief that you cannot lose weight.

But there's a way to change your beliefs…

2. Accountability

When we venture out into the world of weight loss and make that bold decision: 'Right I'm going to lose 10Ibs in the next month', we quickly find that our enthusiasm wears off and we tend to have little cheats like the biscuits with our coffee, or the  big dinner that we have when out with friends (I don't go out very often so it's okay!).  Pretty soon our self motivation disappears and we're back to the same old routine of eating crap and go back to very little exercise.

However there is a way around this, and it's one of the reasons Weight Watchers have been so successful: Accountability

Accountability is when we hold ourselves accountable to someone else like a friend who has decided to partner with you in losing weight.  You keep each other motivated, you weigh in once per week, and chat to each other about your down days.  This accountability has actually been proven to be one of the biggest factors in people being successful in their weight loss goals.

In a recent study in the 'International Journal of Medical Informatics'    the authors concluded that:

This Internet weight loss community plays a prominent role in participants' weight loss efforts. Social support within Internet weight loss communities merits further evaluation as a weight loss resource for clinicians to recommend to patients. Understanding these communities could improve how health professionals evaluate, build, harness, and manipulate social support for weight loss.

So holding yourself accountable to others can have a dramatic difference in reaching your weight loss goals.

I have found a great way to do this…

3. Routine

The routines that we have on a daily basis can have a profound effect on our weight loss goals.

i have been thinking about the long term solution to losing and keeping weight off so i looked at the routines that i have on a daily basis.  One of my routines is having a cup of coffee, 2 sugars and milk, every morning around 5.30am and then another an hour later, and then another…..I have around 10 cups of coffee per day, that's around 100 calories per cup of coffee which is an extra 1,000 calories I'm putting into my body per day.  1,000 calories!  that is nearly half of my recommended daily allowance of calories for a man of my age and size. WTF!

So I changed my routine to drinking green tea and cutting down to 2 cups of coffee per day, and not only do a feel a difference in my energy levels but can feel a difference physically, and that's only one routine I have.

So what I have now done is looked at all the routines and habits I have developed and started swapping routines, or adding new routines.

The Weight Loss Challenge

So what I have done is worked out the system and I started to implement it, but then had the thought 'Hold on, why don't I tell everyone about this.  I have a program of Affirmations specifically designed for weight loss   (The Beliefs Part)  I could then start a dedicated group on Facebook to meet with others trying to lose weight (The Accountability Part)and finally I could write an ebook about different things we can do to change our routines and habits (The Routines Part)

So I have developed a 30 day program and made it as low a price as possible for everyone who wants to lose weight to do so in a safe environment.  So what you get in this program is:

  1. A Weight Loss Series of Affirmations embedded with isochronic tones to help you change your beliefs about losing weight.
  2. A Facebook group just for members of this program so we can hold each other accountable on a weekly basis for 30 days
  3. An ebook to help you decide which routines you wish to change/swap or introduce into your life in order to reach your weight loss goals

The very first Weight Loss Challenge starts on the 2nd January 2017 and enrolment is now open.  Use the Coupon Code CYTSPECIAL   to get a 50% discount. Weight Loss Challenge
