3 Reasons Why Consistency Builds The Momentum Behind Your Success

Sharing is caring!

It’s disheartening to see inexperienced entrepreneurs not experience success in the way that they want or expect.

Throwing up a website with your latest book or product isn’t enough when millions around the world are doing the same.

Putting up a YouTube video or Instagram photo and expecting Kardashian-like notoriety is possible, but again, one video or one photo alone isn’t enough.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the age we’re living in and the infinite possibilities the internet provides. We can flip the switch from local to global in an instant.

However, just because it’s possible to reach millions of people around the globe with your message and your creativity… doesn’t mean you actually will.

We may live in a world of INSTANT GRATIFICATION, but it’s the ability to apply the basic principle of consistency (in your personal and professional life) that leads to success and therefore you’ll need to get used to the idea of DELAYED GRATIFICATION, too.

“It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives.
It’s what we do consistently.” ~Tony Robbins

As an entrepreneur I’ve learned to give new things a try…but also give them a chance to succeed.

The only way to see if anything is worthwhile is through actively practicing the art of consistency.

Where do you want to see change?

Where do you want to experience improvement?

Where do you want to ultimately succeed?

In your health?

In your relationships?

In your business?

Without consistency, you leave “WHAT IFs” unanswered…

1 – 2 – 3times a try is often NOT ENOUGH

For you to experience results (any results) you must practice the art of consistency.Of course, improve upon your action plans, and refine your action plans over time…but more important, stay consistent with whatever you plan.

Consistency (when properly understood) will prove to be invaluable to you.

1. Consistency gives you measurable results.

Consistency gives you a way to measure results… especially when starting a business. It may take several months before you can judge any action plan as a “failure.”And even then, failure isn’t really failure—only more information gathered.More often than not, however, because you’re busy planning, strategizing, and analyzing your business, the likelihood of “failure” is minimal and more often than not will merely require tweaking and refining and rarely require you starting from scratch.

2. Consistency pushes you to be accountable for YOU.

If results really matter to you and if you want to thrive in any area of life…you’ll get why consistency is absolutely necessary no matter what you’re attempting to achieve (entrepreneur or not). For example, one workout won’t give you the body you want. One healthy meal won’t knock off those extra 10 pounds you’ve been trying to lose. One date night will never nurture a relationship.Do you see where this is going? You have to make the commitment with and for yourself to keep at it consistently because the moment you talk yourself out of it, the easier it’ll be to talk yourself out of it again, again, and again.

3. Consistency molds your reputation

Whatever it is that you want to achieve (especially for your business) will heavily rely upon your daily commitment to show up for it. Most important here to know is that how you choose to consistently show up will also show up in your results.

You can not live at home in chaos and clutter and be a completely different person in your business life. The facade can only last so long before the pieces start to crumble.

How you apply the art of consistency molds WHO you are, your reputation and the reputation of your business.

“How you do anything is how you do everything.” ~T. Harv Eker

You deliver WHO YOU ARE and HOW YOU ARE every day in every area of life. Stay committed to consistently showing up as best you can in all ways .

If you’re an entrepreneur then your business is your baby. You can’t decide to be parent, have a child, and decide a few days later not to show up, right?Once you're in, you’re all in .

Consistency is one (major) driving force behind success for anything.

Get used to the idea of delayed gratification and trust that (even small) daily consistent action will create massive impact over time.Yes…stay creative and try new things, but more important… KEEP AT IT.
