5 Real Reasons Successful People Embrace Failures

Sharing is caring!

Aspiring to be a successful author, online entrepreneur, artist or musician will guarantee run-ins with failure.  Success, to be sure, includes the ability to work through failures AND come through the other side better because of it.  Indeed, that's how success works.

Whilst in the thick of struggle and setbacks (what looks to be a failure), remembering that failure is a part of the road paved to success is tough.

It important to remember to embrace failure, and these reasons may help carry you through it.

1. Resilience

Resilience is a brilliant and strong character trait found in successful people.  It can only be built up by experiencing setbacks.  Your ability to bounce back and learn from a setback gets better with each experience, paving the road to ultimate success.

If you want to increase your success rate, double your failure rate. — Thomas Watson Jr.

2. Build Better Relationships

Owning your mistakes and failures and then taking actions to repair and improve any situation is admirable.  In fact, it's an excellent character trait that can deepen and improve relationships that will help carry you to success later.

3. You're Not Alone!

You are among the BEST who've had to deal with (and overcome) failure.  Steve Jobs (the face of Apple computers) was fired, Basketball champ Michael Jordan credits all of his failures as the reason he wins! Singing artist Beyonce, who could have started a singing career at 9 years of age, lost in the ever popular (star creating) American TV series, Star Search competition and lost.  At a tender age she never saw herself losing, but looking back says, “The reality is, sometimes you lose. And you’re never too good to lose, you’re never too big to lose, you’re never too smart to lose, it happens. And it happens when it needs to happen. And you have to embrace those things.”

Trust that your failure and the road you're on is the necessary road for you to build other skills you'll need when you achieve success.

4.  Increase Productivity

Know this, if you're not willing to embrace the uncomfortable nature of failure, then you'll remain stuck—keeping you away from success!  The success mentality embraces failure as an opportunity to employ new "out of the box" thinking and ideas.  This is where new discoveries and more ideas bloom!  Knowing what DOES NOT work is equally as valuable as discovering WHAT DOES.  You can work with data like that to move forward.

5.  Response-ABILITY

The more you embrace failures now, the FASTER you'll respond with a solution-oriented mindset which will go a long way to supporting you for setbacks down the road.  This nurtures a creative and learning culture for yourself which is HUGELY BENEFICIAL and it'll spill over and support every area of your life.

When failure arrives at your door, keep yourself supported as best you can and remember how it builds you (because it does).  If you can handle what's happening before you…you'll only be better prepared to handle bigger things later.  You'll just get better and learn to fail fast which will only benefit you in life and business.

For Online Entrepreneurs…

Before you move on with your day, remember this… GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY.  The online world is a massive attraction with HUGE POTENTIAL (it's enticing and attractive for very good reasons)…AND it can be a very quiet and lonely world if you're not careful.   Your own ego and mindset can create a forest of confusion and unnecessary mental anguish when you experience failure.

Truth is…the landscape of the online world is in constant transition.  One the greatest assets you can add to your journey is a community of online entrepreneurs who are in it with you.  You'll find it a huge asset—coming together for support, brainstorming, and faster learning curves by learning from those who are ahead of you.  This, to be sure, has been a massive win for members of Your Digital Formula , moving from strength to strength
