Whatever you've planned for yourself and your business this year, remember to keep VALUE in the forefront of your mind over success.  What comes from you (your outflow) will determine what you bring back (your inflow).

A million+ Facebook fans…

Multiple school degrees…

A beautiful website…

A flawless funnel…

Years of experience…

all of which mean almost nothingwhen it comes to growing a business unless you focus on one thing—VALUE!  More precisely a valuable experience which only YOU can provide at the end of the day for the people you intend to serve.  To do this you must widen the scope of VALUE (how to welcome it, increase it, and share it).

Here are 5 ways you can help yourself bring more (continuous) value:

1. Value Through RESILIENCE.

Focus on your own GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT. Hands down, investing in your own growth and development keeps inspiration, action, and creativity flowing which keeps you KEEN on your own values.  This helps you with your own sense of direction and provides you the ability to stay resilient (especially when you hit lows in your business).

Investing in your own growth and development expands your vision and fulfilling that vision by putting you in a community and environment leading to relationships, partnerships, resources, and a brain trust giving you the leading edge on the value you provide above and beyond that of friends, family members, and those who don't invest.

2. Value Through QUALITY.

Practice and improve your digital skills .With the rise of solo-preneurs— 41 million Americans in 2017 —more and more Americans are going on their own operating the many moving parts of a business.  And why not?  Creating income (even on the side in addition to traditional employment) is proving worthwhile and why over 61% plan to continue to go solo and go BIGGER !

So, no matter what you specialize in, recognizing the value of learning and improving your digital skills is a priority.  Not only will this make you personally more valuable, it'll go a long way to helping the valuable areas of your business far too many overlook (social media marketing, blogging , copywriting, etc…).  Improving your own digital skills will support your ability to provide value in the digital world (where most are seeking out experts in every industry) more polished and with higher QUALITY by your side.

3. Value Through CONFIDENCE and INTEGRITY.

Start by being relentless about time management.   How much time do you waste in one day?   (Be honest with yourself). Time is something you'll NEVER get back, and therefore valuing time also means valuing your SELF.

Keeping a schedule helps your own career because it encourages self-discipline and that is VALUABLE—from reducing procrastination to positively influencing your own confidence and integrity (a highly valued characteristic).

Managing your time (scheduling your day and then keeping to that schedule) will help you stay productive, do more with less effort and it will go a long way to helping you make better decisions for the long-term (all of which boosts your confidence and integrity).

4. Value Through Your WORD.

Keep your word.  Doing so represents HONESTY, a high-value characteristic sought FIRST before investments are considered.  Do what you say and never behave differently from what you say.

Value doesn't occur in isolation.  It's in connecting and providing the experience of valueand the only way that can happen is by giving value, FIRST (and when you think you've given value then…GIVE MORE VALUE).  The fastest way to provide this is through social media .  Specifically, Facebook LIVE where you can immediately provide an experience, give value and connect with your audience and prospects.
