7 Reasons Why You Should Drink Apple Cider Vinegar Every Day

That just sounds gross doesn't it? Who in their right mind would want to drink vinegar every day? Most of us have a hard time getting down a glass of water simply because it's bland but can you imagine trying to swallow a whole glass of vinegar? Read on, you'd be surprised at just how good this is for you and why you should do it every day.

Ok I know it seems completely disgusting, and I remember when I first heard about it I was slightly taken back by that. After reading about it and doing some research, however, I decided to give it a go.

apple_cider_vinegar I'm always leery about all the new health claims out there today. The internet is inundated with all the new concoctions we should be brewing in our kitchens for longevity and better stamina and healthier skin, less wrinkles, bigger muscles and so on but this one has me convinced. Here's why.

1. It's just good for your bones, plain and simple.

This drink is packed wit h minerals like manganese, magnesium and calcium just to name a few. These help in maintaining bone mass and it's no secret as we get older, osteoporosis can and does set in. Drinking apple cider vinegar a day will slow this down considerably.

2. Weight loss.

This drink is great for boosting your metabolism, something that many people struggle with which is why weight loss can be a frustrating struggle for them. Apple cider vinegar also helps to decrease your appetite. (I probably wouldn't be very hungry after drinking it either)

3. Keeps the bugs away.

Who knew? This is actually a trick into changing your body odor. Your friends and family won't notice but the bugs sure will and they won't like it one bit. And speaking of body odor, apparently you will perspire less in the intense heat.

4. Lower blood sugar levels.

This is great news for diabetics and anyone else who struggles with high blood sugar diseases. Improves insulin sensitivity before eating a high-carb meal and significantly lowers blood glucose. Though we should all be mindful of taking in too many high carb meals, it's good to know that this will slightly counteract the effects.

5. Balances out your ph levels.

This is a good thing as our PH levels help us maintain a healthy metabolism, slows the aging process and builds up our immunity. The acid level in the vinegar helps to balance out the alkalinity in our bodies.

6. Helps reduce heartburn.

That totally sounds like counterintuitive but the acid in the vinegar actually helps correct the acid levels causing the heartburn. Take a couple of teaspoons followed by some water at room temperature and relief will come shortly.

7. Hair and skin.

While drinking ACV has some great internal health benefits it also has great external benefits by using it topically. It is an amazing toner for the skin as it balances out the oils without drying it out and it is great for adding super shine to your hair and balancing the oils on your scalp.

While ACV is great for your health it is also awesome as a household product. You can use it to deodorize bathrooms, use in your dishwasher, freshen up your smelly pet, throw it in your salad as a dressing and many other uses.

When taking it orally, be warned, it doesn't taste great so you may want to mix it with something at first, like a nice tasting juice, and only mix a small amount in. Try to buy the purest form you can too. It should be cloudy and rather yucky looking. Yes yucky for sure but look at how great it is for you. Try it and see if you notice any changes.
