7 Reasons You Should Be Having Sex More

Sharing is caring!

(Before we begin this enticing tale of sex sex and more sex, if you are not already in a committed relationship, please just have safe sex.)

Who doesn't love sex? It's about as close as you can get to a person's mind, body, heart and soul, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. When we have that absolute complete and fulfilled bonding moment, well, the after effect, the results are nothing short of wholesome.

If you are in a committed relationship and are not having as much sex as you would like to be having, here is a list of some of the reasons why you should be. Show this list to your partner if they are the cause of your sex drought. If you are, then read this list twice if you h ave to. Sex is good for lots of things. Here's 7 of them.

sex 1. Calorie burner.

Forget the treadmill, the ab crusher and the thigh master, sex is hands down the best total body exercise you can do to trim, tone and firm just about every part of your body. Want buns of steel, washboard abs, and toned inner and outer thighs? How ab out some good ole cardio but the fun way? Yes, sex can do all this for you and then some. Try it for half an hour, an hour or all day. Sweat your butt off, burn some calories. Yes!

2. Heart healthy.

In keeping with all that talk about exercise, it's no secret that exercising is great preventative measure for heart attacks and strokes. We need to do at least 30-45 minutes of cardio each week to keep our heart healthy. What better way to achieve that then through sex? Getting your heart pumping again will also make you feel more energized too! Like your alive, again.

3. Stronger bonds.

This may sound like a no brainer but it's not. Many of us who have been in relationships for a very long time start feeling slightly disconnected from each other. One partner may the one not so much. When you take some time to reconnect with sex, or making love, the bond you once lost, that spark, can be rekindled again. Set a date night, have some fun. Or just grab your partner at that moment and do it spontaneously. Which ever way works for both of you, do it.

4. Great and glowy skin.

It's almost like you know. When you see your friends or a couple who have that silly little grin on their face and their skin is all beautiful and glowing. You know. They just had great mind blowing sex. Who doesn't want glowy skin? That glow that makes your eyes sparkle and twinkle and your cheeks all cheery. Having more sex will get your blood flowing, heart pumping and skin glistening.

5. Less stress.

Another one that should go without saying but when you think about all the things that stress you out right now, the decisions you have to make, the chores you have to do and pile all other daily stresses up, you will soon discover that once you have great sex, all those anxieties of your chores or your stressful to do list dissipates. Suddenly you can tackle it much more calmly. Sex does that.

6. You'll just be happier.

No, really. You will. Having sex triggers the happy compound we all know as Dopamine, and once this guy is fired up, so are you. It helps to switch off your gloomy sad hormone and turn up the happy one. Happy people are more pleasing to be around then cranky ones. (If you notice you are crankier than usual and no one wants to hang around you, that's probably why). Have more sex, be happy.

7. All you need is love.

Sex sure can fill the heart with love. Maybe even better than a box of chocolates and a bouquet of red roses. Maybe even better than a picnic by the river. Sex gets it all going. The dopamine, the heart, the blood flowing. You name it, your whole self is fired up and ready to take on the world with love and joy. Yup, sex does all that too.

Oh, sex can do all this and more. Are you getting enough sex in your week? Might be time to have that talk with your partner, or, never mind a talk, just grab them and go! Spontaneity is always best, I think.
