As part of the commitment outlined in our land acknowledgement, the Switzer Foundation contributes $500 to an Indigenous-led organization for each event we hold. Receiving organizations are suggested by fellows involved in the event and reviewed based on the following criteria: status as a public charity, alignment with the mission of the Switzer Foundation, relevance to the event or fellow organizing the event, and confirmation there is no conflict of interest.
For more detailed information on our policy guidelines, or if you have a recommendation for an organization to consider for a future event, please contact laine@switzernetwork.org .
