Meet Our People

Professor Katy Cedano

Associate Professor Katy Cedano coordinates the Modern Languages area of the English Department. She teaches all levels of Spanish, including SPA 113HP, which she created specifically for students in the health field. She is the faculty advisor to The Hispanic Cultural Society and a member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Fluent in four languages, she seeks to imbue her students with a life-long passion for language learning and cultural discovery. Professor Cedano has a B.A. from the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago and an M.Ed. from Seton Hall University.
