Hon. Angela M. Pasula, Chief Judge Pro tem

Hon. Angela PusulaJudge Angela M. Pasula is a lifelong resident of Berrien County. She graduated from New Buffalo High School in 1974, received her Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University in 1977 and her Juris Doctor degree in 1980 from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Service

Judge Pasula was appointed to the District Court Bench in 1999 and was elected to the Circuit Court Bench in 2012. She currently serves in the Criminal Division of the Berrien County Trial Court. She also currently serves as the Chief Judge, Pro Tem.

Prior to her judicial appointment, she served as Berrien County Prosecuting Attorney from 1996 to 1999, Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney from 1989 to 1996, and an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney from 1982 to 1989. Upon graduation from Valparaiso University, she was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor's Office from 1980 to 1982.

Judge Pasula is a member of the Lakeshore Rotary. She was President of the Berrien County Bar Association 1999 to 2000, having previously served as Vice President from 1998 to 1999 and Treasurer from 1990 to 1992, and has served on the Board of Directors of United Way.

Family

Judge Pasula is married and resides with her husband, David, and two children.
