    The primary objective of the various Inventory Operations is to provide an inventory of materials available to all College departments for the purpose of performing their daily operations.

    About Inventory Operations

    Through bulk purchases, annual contracts, and competitive bidding, substantially lower prices are available to all departments. All supplies are sold at an average costing, with no mark up or shipping charges. Inventory transactions are transmitted to chart/PTAEO strings daily.

    Ordering Instructions

    For items not found in the catalog, complete a New Item Request form for a new item to be brought into stock.

    Only registered users are able to place stockroom orders. Aside from the link above, the  Stockroom Shopping Cart can be accessed through the iProcurement home page or the Procurement Services website under Inventory.

    At the Dartmouth Web Authentication screen enter your name and e-mail password. First time users will need to complete the registration screen. Enter your shipping address, building and room, your new chart string or PTAEO account, your telephone number and click the “Submit” button. This information will default for each stockroom order. You can only save one account number as your default account. Click the “Edit” button to make any changes to your registration or to change the account number if needed

    Please do not enter items from different stockrooms on one order. Place each stockroom order separately.

    Searching For Products

    The catalog offers 2 different ways to search for products, which are as follows:

    1. Item Keyword - you can search for a product by searching for any word in the product description. The steps are as follows:
    • Select the desired stockroom
    • Select "Item Keyword"
    • Enter keyword
    • Click “Search” button

      All products with this keyword in the description will be displayed.

      2. Item # - you can search for a product by “Item #”. The steps are as follows:
    • Select the desired stockroom
    • Select "Item #"
    • Enter Item #
    • Click “Search” button

      The product with this item number will be displayed.

    To list all of the products in any stockroom, click the “QUICK LINK” with the desired stockroom abbreviation.

    Placing An Order

    Complete the following steps to complete an order:

    1. Find a product to order by performing a search or list all of the products by using the stockroom “QUICK LINK”.
    2. Select the desired product(s).
    3. Click the "Add to Cart" button at the bottom.
    4. After you click the "Add to Cart" button a page will open where you can - add multiples and recalculate the cost, delete items from the cart, clear all items from the cart, continue shopping or submit the order.
    5. Click the “Submit” button and the review order page will be displayed.
    6. If the order is correct click the “Done” button and the completed order confirmation page will be displayed.
    7. Your order will be e-mailed to the desired stockroom and an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. Please allow a few minutes for these transactions to be processed and transmitted.


    Creating A Favorite List

    The system allows registered users to create a "Favorite List". To create a "Favorite List", please do the following:

    1. Find a product to order by performing a search or list all of the products by using the stockroom “QUICK LINK”.
    2. Select the desired product(s).
    3. Click the "Add to Favorite" button at the bottom. The product will be added to your "Favorite List" and the list will be displayed. Once the "Favorite List" is displayed you will be able to delete items on the list or select and order them.

    Printing Copies of Charge and Credit Slips

    1. Under list of responsibilities - DC eProcurement Reports
    2. Click OK
    3. Click Submit a New Request
    4. Click OK for Single Request
    5. Click on Name Field
    6. Click LOV box on right side of field
    7. Choose Charge/Credit Ticket
    8. Enter stockroom charge slip number
    9. Click Ok
    10. Click Submit
