Since 1964, Essex County OB/GYN has been“Caring for Generations” of Women on the North Shore of Massachusetts, by providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to women throughout their lives.
We believe that caring for you means caring about you. We offer preventative, diagnostic, and acute care for a wide range of Women’s Health issues. Each of us, including our board-certified OB/GYN physicians and certified nurse-midwives, genuinely cares about our patients.
We are dedicated to helping our patients maintain optimal health by providing them with quality medical care throughout their lives. We practice with compassion in a warm and welcoming environment.

Dr. Bradley to Retire
I’m sad to announce that after 22 years of dedicated practice, Dr. Deborah Bradley will be retiring from Essex County Ob/Gyn Associates effective December 31, 2013.
We want to make it as easy as possible for her patients to make the transition in their care. Dr. John Keenan and Dr. Laura Richio recently began seeing patients in our Gloucester office and they will have increased availability in January. It is now possible to schedule appointments with them through 2014.
Dr. Keenan has been with our practice since 1980, and is board-certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He graduated from the University of Dublin medical school and completed his residency at Georgetown University Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Richio , who is fluent in Spanish, graduated from University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her residency through Brown University at Women and Infants Hospital. She has been providing obstetric and gynecologic care to our patients since 2011. Dr. Katrina Sanders will continue to provide ob/gyn care in our Gloucester office, as she has since 2005. Dr. Bradley is an outstanding physician, and is also a wonderful person. We will miss her very much, even as we wish her happiness, laughter and good health in the next stage of her life.
