How right you are, my friend.
You should visit my county on the 4th. We have a couple of reservations where one can purchase fireworks banned everywhere else, and the skies erupt in lights and explosions. Our pets are traumatized for days after.

Oh my. I tried to give him his usual “I’m eating, I don’t care what happens” expression. He’s enjoying a lollipop (his favorite flavor is doughnut, or bacon, depending) and wearing his li’l sailor hat.
Sorry that they “got” you, Tru. But it led to someone using the famous Groovy, Kinda catchphrase: “By Neptune’s Crimson Woodie!”

I have no idea what she’s done to him, but I think she’s still getting even for the “wake up call.” He does not look comfortable. I don’t care how close I zoom in.
And I cried a bit when I saw my name in yesterday’s strip! 🙂 You are soooo sweet. On the other hand… they “got” me. Uhm…
