Stained floors add a luxurious richness that cannot be achieved by any other types of flooring. Therefore creating a unique one of a kind surface. Stains penetrate and react with the concrete to produce translucent tones that vary depending on the surface they are applied. Results can also mimic marble, granite, natural stone, tanned leather, or stained wood.
There are 2 different categories of concrete stains:
waterbased stains and acid-based stains. While Acid stain work by penetrating the surface and chemically reacting with hydrated lime in the concrete.

Because water based stains come in a much broader spectrum of hues there are more options . There are Thirty-two water-based stained colors are offered therefore adding to the stain possibilities. In addition, it works through penetration rather than reaction only ensuring a consistent color throughout.
Concrete stains are semi-transparent and intended to enhance rather than disguise the surface.
Therefore will not hide flaws, blemishes, or cracks. As a result, will not mask underlying color or conceal the texture of the surface. Not every concrete surface is a candidate for stain. major cracks and patch-work are likely to show right through the sta in.
