Accountant

The Town Accountant's office maintains a complete set of accounting records for all funds for the Town in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

The Town Accountant is responsible for the coordination of the annual audit required by state and federal regulations.The office approves all expenditures after determining that said charges are correct and are within the parameters set forth by a valid appropriation.

Other responsibilities include the preparation on the Schedule A Report and participation in the tax rate setting process.
