Update on 21 day habit

As mentioned before in my article on 21 days to a new habit I am giving up sweets for 21 days. I thought I would give you a quick update on how it's going.

willpower I have stopped eating sweets for 4 days now. This includes biscuits, ice cream, sweets, cake, etc. Previously I had cut down on sweets but never just gave them up. I used to snack on biscuits and sweets, but never 1 or 2 biscuits it was always about 10 biscuits or a mars bar here and there. I worked out that I averaged about 800 calories a day in sweets alone. That blew my mind so I cut down to an average of 200 calories per day and then I decided just to give up.

I am okay with giving up; I am not craving too much which is good. However I have noticed three differences.

I am a little quick tempered just now when nothing much else, apart from giving up sweets, has changed so I can only attribute this to me giving up.

Secondly I am craving water a lot which I found very odd. This can only be a good thing and certainly won't do me any harm.

Lastly, I don't feel half as bloated as I used to. I always felt bloated and felt as if I needed the toilet all the time.

I will keep you posted with my progress.
