Inspired by the work at the Institute for Composer Diversity , this LibGuide was created to continue the "celebration, education, and advocacy of music created by composers from historically underrepresented groups" at DePauw University's School of Music.

Library catalogs do not currently allow for searches based on demographic or identity keywords -- which makes searching for diverse music repertoire incredibly difficult.

The Diversify Your Repertoire Guide was created to provide you with search strategies for locating music from historically underrepresented groups.
