New Acrua NSX Concept Car
Several years have passed since the original Acura NSX was taken out of production and the US and Hong Kong market where it was sold. Honda now has plans of bringing the NSX back and it is surely going to be better than it ever was! Honda released a concept version of the NSX before, but it was just a tiny bit more than an empty shell. But the company released a new concept model soon which was furnished completely with all the various things that were missing before. Honda plans to maintain an eco-friendly profile with the new Acura NSX. However, the NSX will not lack anything that a sports car needs to have!
The hybridisation model that the NSX would use consists of both – a gas engine as well as a pair of electric motors. Honda will incorporate its SH-AWD Technology (Super Handling All Wheel Drive technology) in the new NSX. Yes, it will come with all-wheel drive versions, cementing the rumours that the Acura NSX will deliver excellent driving experience, handling as well as road grip. The electric motors will be used to drive the front wheels. One motor will be incorporated for one wheel each. The gas engine will be used to drive the rear wheels. “This Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system will make NSX the ultimate expression of Acura’s idea to create synergy between man and machine,” says Mr Takanobu Ito, President and CEO of Honda Motors.

The new Acura NSX is arguably the best looking car that the company plans to launch. One of the most noteworthy things about the new NSX is that instead of using a much anticipated V10 engine, it will be coming with a V6 engine. The 3500cc engine would be accompanied by an impressive 7 speed dual clutch transmission. The body will be made up mostly of Aluminium, ensuring light weight as well as robust construction. The 3500cc V6 engine will be producing about 310 horsepower of energy. Also, the two batteries which will be used to drive the front wheels should be able to produce about 100 horsepower combined. Altogether, the NSX will be using more than 400 horsepower of energy. Taking the expected weight into account, it is believed that the car would be able to go from rest to 60 miles per hour in just 3 seconds! Seems like the new Acura NSX is not just stylish and elegant, it is pretty fast as well!
