If the excise remains unpaid at any time after the Final/Service of Warrant, the owner and his vehicle will be "marked" at the Registry of Motor Vehicles for a non-renewal of both car registration and driving license. Individual bills that are marked may not renew their license or register any car until the delinquent bill(s) has been paid.

Form of Payment - Cash, Money Order, or Bank Check is requested as the form of payment to release a flag at the registry to conduct business. Submitting a personal check will result in delaying the flag release for personal checks are held up to 15 days for clearance.

It is important that a bill for the vehicle that is no longer owned, not be ignored.
