In order to obtain an annual Dog License in Somerset, you can visit our office in person or mail in or utilize our drop box to drop off your current Certificate of Rabies, showing the expiration date of the most recent valid shot and a Spay/Neuter certificate (if applicable), to the Office of the Town Clerk along with the appropriate fee. Dog Licenses are available after February 1st every year and must be obtained not later than April 1 of the current year.

Mass. General Laws require all dogs to be licensed after 6 months of age. Dog Licenses are renewable annually by April 1st.
