Board of Registrars

Historical Commission
In accordance with Massachusetts State Laws Chapter 40, Section 8D, the Somerset Historical Commission identifies, protects and preserves the historical heritage and resources of the Town of Somerset.

The mission of the Town Moderator is to conduct Town Meeting in a purposeful, orderly manner enabling the business at hand to be acted upon through the use of parliamentary law specific to Town Meeting as stated in Town Meeting Time.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets once a month, typically on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Petitions for variances, special permits, planned developments, sign permits, etc. are filed in the Town Clerk’s Office.
