This is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath cottage that is about 360 steps from the ocean beach at Maguire's Landing in South Wellfleet.

On a dead-end street (i.e. quiet), this cottage is located in the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Offering Wi-fi Internet access but no distracting TV, a gas log in the fireplace, indoor and outdoor showers and a screened-in porch. There is also a gas BBQ and picnic table outdoors.

The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, a 4 burner gas stove with oven, modern sink and countertop, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, a drip coffeemaker with filters along with pots and pans and dishes.

This cottage rents on a Saturday to Saturday basis during the summer season.

• Check-in

  Check-in time has typically been after 3:00 pm. Due to the required enhanced cleaning and minimum of 6 hours between guests, we have had to extend check-in time to 4:00 pm. Your understanding is appreciated.

• Check-out

  Check-out time is by 10:00 am. Because of the required enhanced cleaning, we are not able to offer late check-outs at this time.

• Pets

  Not allowed during July and August. However, in the Spring and Fall, one pet is allowed for an additional fee of $100.00, plus tax, per week. Advanced notice required.

• Policies

  Quiet Hours begin each night at 10:00. After that time, please restrict your activities to those that would not awaken a child who may be asleep next door.

  The cottage is rented with the understanding that it will be left clean and in good order. Your cleaning/security deposit will be refunded by mail, after check-out, provided that the cleaning guidelines, that we leave in the cottage, are followed.

  This cottage is equipped and zoned for occupancy by a maximum of 6 people (strictly enforced).

  Reservations are considered as commitments for the full time period requested. Deposits are viewed by cottage owners as security against vacancies caused by cancellations or date changes.If you must cancel a reservation, your deposit will be refunded (minus a cancellation fee equal to 15% of the total rent amount) as soon as the cottage is re-rented for that reservation period and the next renter's deposit is received.

• Fees

  Besides the rent, there is a 14.45% state occupancy tax collected. There is also a refundable $200.00 cleaning/security deposit but aside from that, there are no other fees involved with staying at this cottage.
  In season, the town sells a beach parking permit only to Wellfleet renters. We offer a "Proof of Stay form" to our renters which will allow them to purchase the parking permit which is good at 4 ocean beaches, 3 fresh-water ponds and 5 bay beaches.
  Of course, all of these beaches can be accessed on foot or by bicycle for free. Our beach is just down the street!
