This is a spacious 6-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 2-floor house that has a lot going for it.

Walk 5 doors down Rockwell Ave and you come to the top of the sand dune that leads down to a magnificent ocean beach with majestic sand dunes and, at times, crashing waves. To help you get down and back up the dune, there is a string of stairs laid on top of the sand.

Offering Wi-fi Internet access, 3 satellite TV's, a Peloton exercise cycle connected to the Internet, 8-zone air conditioning and heat, an outdoor fire pit, 3 full baths and one half bath, a private outdoor shower, a second floor deck off the dining room where you can take your meals with a distant view of the ocean, gas BBQ and a big green egg smoker, and picnic table outdoor.

There is an out-building with a foosball table along with beach chairs and other beach toys for your use. There is even an outlet there to plug in your Tesla!

The stainless and granite kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, a 4 burner electric stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, a drip coffeemaker with filters, a coffeemaker that takes Nespresso pods, pots and pans and dishes.

This house rents on a Saturday to Saturday basis during the summer season.

  Check-in time has typically been after 4:00 pm. Your understanding is appreciated.

• Check-out

  Check-out time is by 10:00 am.

• Pets

  One pet is allowed for an additional fee of $100.00, plus tax, per week. Advanced notice required.Pet owner must agree to pick up after the dog, honor the town's leash laws and to minimize disturbing the neighbors due to excessive barking.

• Policies

  Quiet Hours begin each night at 10:00. After that time, please restrict your activities to those that would not awaken a child who may be asleep next door.

  The cottage is rented with the understanding that it will be left clean and in good order. Your cleaning/security deposit will be refunded by mail, after check-out, provided that the cleaning guidelines, that we leave in the cottage, are followed.

  This cottage is equipped and zoned for occupancy by a maximum of 12 people (strictly enforced).

  Reservations are considered as commitments for the full time period requested. Deposits are viewed by cottage owners as security against vacancies caused by cancellations or date changes.If you must cancel a reservation, your deposit will be refunded (minus a cancellation fee equal to 15% of the total rent amount) as soon as the cottage is re-rented for that reservation period and the next renter's deposit is received.

• Fees

  Besides the rent, there is a 17.45% state occupancy tax collected. There is also a refundable $300.00 cleaning/security deposit but aside from that, there are no other fees involved with staying at this cottage.
  In season, the town sells a beach parking permit only to Wellfleet renters. We offer a "Proof of Stay form" to our renters which will allow them to purchase the parking permit which is good at 4 ocean beaches, 3 fresh-water ponds and 5 bay beaches.
  Of course, all of these beaches can be accessed on foot or by bicycle for free. Our beach is just down the street!
